Head of Marketing Communication, Bayer


After finishing his studies in consumer psychology and business economics Michael joined Bayer as advertising researcher. From many international Market insights he established the Bayer Advertising Academy which trained Marketers from all divisions in a global program.
When Bayer offered him a Short term assignment to an external agency Michael became part of an IPO team based in UK & Germany – launching startup- companies in the .com segment.
Back to Bayer Michael took over challenges in various operative functions as global Head of Advertising for the Rubber Business(today Lanxess) and Automotive Business before he became Head of Advertising & Events for Bayer MaterialScience (today Covestro).
From there he developed as Global Head Marketing Communications at CropScience heading the global team with responsibilities in Digital Marketing, Product & Service Branding and Trademark Management.
