Mark your calendar. The biggest European knowledge-sharing platform for project, product and portfolio management professionals in the medical devices industry is back. The 4th Annual Medical Devices 3P Forum will kick off in the beautiful and historical city of Berlin on October 6 and 7. More than 100 attendees and 20 speakers will come together to share their ideas and insights on new trends in the medical devices industry.

Don’t expect some ordinary corporate conference. EBCG offers you a friendly atmosphere, interactivity, individual involvement and plenty of space dedicated to networking. Why? Because they are just as important as knowledge sharing during these two days.

Stream A: Project & Portfolio Management

Case studies, case studies, case studies. If you were expecting yet another theoretical conference, this might not be the one for you.

During the morning, you will get the chance to listen to Peter Petersen, Director and Product & Program Manager from Oticon sharing his insights on building and leading global cross-functional teams towards a mutual goal.

Brian Olsen, Vice President of Project Management Office from GN ReSound will talk about how GN ReSound successfully implemented template planning on their daily routine. He will explain the way template planning can help and “control” project managers who think their projects in isolation.

Next, Nils Goetzen, Senior Program Manager from Xeltis will elaborate more on the story of Xeltis, a startup company which became one of the best Medtech companies worldwide.

After an energy break to enjoy your coffee and snacks, you can be an active part of the conversation. Join your favorite morning speaker and talk about future trends on project and portfolio management. Don’t be shy, ask your questions and share your concerns.

In the afternoon, Hilbrand Bodewes, Senior Product Manager Revision Knees and Limb Salvage from Zimmer Biomet will talk about how traditional orthopedics transformed by implementing innovation in a traditional corporate environment.

Do you want to ask more questions? We encourage you to join your favorite afternoon speaker and discuss further your concerns and ideas.

Stream B: Product Management

For those of you focusing on product development and product launch, the second stream of the Medical Devices 3P Forum will help you discover new tactics and strategies that will take you and your company one step forward.

Claus Schaffrath, Director Product Management – Clinical Solutions from Philips will help you create value with clinical marketing and product claim management. During his presentation, he will talk about the ways to identify the right claims for a Medical Device to obtain a differentiating proposition.

Product Manager as a Tamer of Two Different Areas will be the main focus of Sascha Kropf, Global Product Manager of Medical Washing System from Belimed. According to Sasha, there is no gain without any pain. It is essential to install a right to fail culture to learn from your sophisticated customer.

Jerome Pigeot, Director Global Product Marketing Hospital Portfolio from ResMed will take the stage next and will talk about VOC and the impact level on product development.

Right after our morning coffee break, you can join your favorite morning speaker on the roundtable discussions, ask your questions and share your experiences.

On the afternoon, Steffen Klabunde, Director of Product Management and Innovation from Karl Otto Braun will introduce a recent, successful and stressful product development and launch retrospective.

Karen Cheng, Senior Manager of Global Training & Education from Straumann will share her experience on building a service solution from scratch and how to discuss digital technology with… a dinosaur.

Last but not least, Sandra Hauken, Product Manager from Medtronic will talk about pricing, sales and marketing collaboration and the dangers of setting your initial price too low.
